What I’ve learned?
Many marketers state, ‘content is king.’ I politely disagree. Persuasive writing is king, while content serves and supports, helping to build relationships, trust, and credibility, which paves the path to a purchase. Today, content and copywriting demand commitment and consistency. Google also has a say in how content is written, and they’ve set the stage for spam-laden content to die a slow death. Clients usually want to sell, exclaiming the virtues of the products and services, without regards to solving problems and solutions. This is not a wise marketing tactic.

Note: an emotional connection to a destination, resort, etc., breeds loyalty, increases sharing on social media, and word of mouth reviews – all of which promote return trips which may increase BOOKINGS, OVERNIGHT STAYS, IN DESTINATION SPENDS AND PURCHASES.
